SERVICES
Individual Therapy/Coaching
Feeling stuck or overwhelmed? Introducing yourself as anxious or depressed? Tired of discussing problems without resolution? I view therapy as collaborative action, aiming for your clarity and freedom from life’s dis-ease.
Partnering with nature facilitates immediate change. Each session starts with a focused intention, leaving you with practical skills. Clients often report automatic, natural, and lasting relief after the first session. My solution-focused approach, incorporating neuroscience, offers swift and lasting change.
Techniques like guided imagery, storytelling, EMDR, and hypnotic methods re-frame distressing memories, prioritizing resolution over prolonged analysis. Experience rapid relief, moving forward with renewed well-being.

Equine Assisted Service
Horses’ instinctual connection with each other and nature provides a solid foundation to blend my understanding of people as an interconnected system of self, family, community, and beyond. Looking through the lens’ of neuroscience, attachment theory, mindfulness, and mind-body connection offers a holistic approach combining horses and therapy. Everything in a session is meant to build these interconnected systems.
Horses are tough and authentic partners. Many have said, “You cannot bulls*%t a horse!” Learning to listen to what horses have to say is powerful and can sometimes spur the answer to individual change. The participant’s rate of success in leveling up these perceived changes is often greatly multiplied with horse wisdom. Horses don’t judge, but they constantly assess. Their feedback is honest, instant, and intentional causing participants the opportunity to be in the moment.

Trauma Informed Services
EMDR stands for Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing. I know, it’s a mouthful. In short, EMDR is an evidenced based protocol utilized by trained professionals to treat individuals who have experienced various levels of trauma. EMDR works through bi-lateral stimulation i.e. eye movement, tapping, sound, and even with rhythmic riding once you connect with your equine partner.
One of the reasons many clients prefer EMDR therapy is that there is not a lot of talking. While processing, the client is merely reporting to me what they are experiencing in the moment which is often a visualization (picture/movie), sound, color, smell, and/or sensation in their body.

Rapid Resolution Therapy®
As a student moving toward certification in RRT®, I utilize these techniques with most of the participants I assist. My mission, connecting to heal, was derived from personal experiences with, Dr. Jon Connelly, the creator of this shift causing model of connection. Stay tuned, I am crafting a blog about this experience.
RRT®, differs significantly from traditional talk therapy by engaging all regions of the brain. Unlike talk therapy, which often addresses only the surface, RRT® delves into deeper areas where issues may persist.
People may intellectually acknowledge certain facts, but if the deeper brain doesn’t comprehend and integrate this information, problems persist. RRT® communicates with both brain regions simultaneously, facilitating receptivity and responsiveness in the deeper areas. This process ensures that existing information is effectively integrated, preventing the misfiring of the system.

Groups & Retreats
Embarking on my journey of serving clients, I discovered my passion for guiding transformative group experiences. Facilitating shifts on both personal and interpersonal levels, encouraging problem-solving, and opening new perspectives are among the impactful changes facilitated by the wisdom of experiential methods. Throughout my career, colleagues and I have crafted a variety of group programs, specializing in tailoring them to precisely match the unique intentions of each client. My expertise extends to serving Veterans, First Responders, treatment centers, corporations, and providing the flexibility to design retreats spanning 2, 3, or 5 days, supported by a well-established infrastructure.

Veterans & First Responders
Many years ago, I embarked on a journey of serving others, and in the process, I’ve been fortunate to work with Veterans. These experiences have significantly influenced my career trajectory, leading me from a behavioral health technician to a case manager and eventually to an addiction professional. Interacting with these resilient individuals and witnessing the diverse challenges they’ve faced has underscored the importance of adopting a neuroscience-informed perspective.
Today, as a licensed mental health provider and nature enthusiast my path of service has taken another turn. I am now collaborating with Operation Warrior Resolution® to offer brain-based healing for Veterans through retreats and individual services.
If you are a Florida-based Veteran or know someone who is, I encourage you to explore the support provided by Operation Warrior Resolution®.

Telehealth
Before the pandemic, I was initially hesitant about offering services through Telehealth. During sessions with individuals, we often explore the significance of approaching sensations, feelings, and thoughts rather than avoiding them. Telehealth stands as a personal testament to the value of embracing what was once perceived as disturbing.
I collaborated with an equine organization in Delray Beach, FL, which initiated a new program for the VA’s Domiciliary clients just before the world shut down. Despite the initial disappointment, instead of succumbing to it, we channeled our creativity. Alongside the VA and an exceptional recreational therapist, we established an online equine-assisted learning group.
Telehealth, in my experience, is not only convenient and engaging but also just as effective as in-person services. However, if you prefer in-person sessions or a combination of both, we can tailor our approach to suit your needs.
